Thought you might like to see Alan's latest picture today. With a compromised immune system and very limited mobility he's pretty much stuck between house and garden right now, and we can't do any selling either, because most sales are online and getting to the post office is problematic.
On the other hand, he's getting a lot of painting done - and this one wasn't for sale. It's a gift for our lovely friends on the Isle of Skye. Normally we would be seeing them at this time of year, but everything is on hold, including their visit. All the same I do like this picture a lot - it reminds me of a very happy day - and in due course we'll probably get prints made from it.
I always love Alan's use of colour, and this is no exception. Given our need for isolation at the moment, he's planning a few more Scottish landscape pictures, especially castles.
